Неделя финансовой грамотности для детей и молодёжи
From March 27 till April 2, Tajikistan hosted the Week of Financial Literacy for Children and Youth. CJSC MDO "Humo" as an active participant of the program on the improvement of financial literacy among the population carried out seminars specifically developed for the young generation - the future users of financial services in educational institutions throughout the Republic.
The specialists of CJSC MDO "Humo" conducted trainings on financial literacy for 7 days in the schools, lyceums, colleges and universities. Questions were raised such as: the family budget, the correct setting of financial goals, what is the safety cushion, as well as other financial issues. In total, more than 830 schoolchildren, students and teachers participated in training on financial literacy.
Let's remind that the Week of financial literacy is conducted by Child and Youth Finance International. Every year, more than 7 million children from 140 countries take part in this promotion.
It should be noted that the goal of the numerous events held within the framework of Global Money Week is to introduce young people with the rules of financial behavior, to give useful advice on how to spend and save money wisely, and to expand their knowledge of income-generating opportunities. It is important that the children understand the main idea: it is necessary to learn to make the right financial decisions, because a reasonable attitude towards money will allow them to realize their plans in the future and will ensure financial security and well-being.
