Визит Чрезвычайного и Полномочного посла Японии в ЗАО МДО «Хумо»
On June 17, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Toshihiro Aiki, and the Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Katori Harumi, have visited the head office of the Company.
The main goal of the Ambassador's visit was to get acquainted with CJSC MDO "Humo", whose shares were acquired by the Japanese group GOJO & Company, Inc. During the meeting, the Company's Management shared information about the history of the organization's development, the current situation, as well as further development plans.
In particular, it was noted that in September 2021, the Japanese company GOJO & Company, Inc. acquired 76.48% of the shares of CJSC MDO "Humo" and became the main shareholder of the organization. In addition, in February 2022, this company increased the capital of the organization for USD and its share in the capital stock of CJSC MDO "Humo" reached 83%. In general, for 6 months, GOJO & Company, Inc. made 6 million USD of investments in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The parties also discussed issues of bilateral relations in various directions. It was emphasized that the training and development of human potential is one of the priorities of the Development Strategy of CJSC MDO "Humo". To this end, the Organization launched “HUMO Digital Academy” in 2020 to train young professionals in the field of programming, design, analysis and other digital specialties that are in demand on the market.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Toshihiro Aiki, expressed his readiness to continue to support CJSC MDO "Humo" and make a valuable contribution to the development of the organization.
